It’s that time of year! The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has arrived! On November 24th, the festival made it’s debut at Epcot with tons of new dishes and drinks from all around the globe. The main event though is the infamous cookie stroll.
The cookie stroll is a fun little food “challenge”, not sure if you would call it a challenge or not if you’re a foodie and/or cookie lover, that consists of eating five out of the eight listed cookies. Each cookie is $3, which I thought was reasonable considering the size of each cookie. At the back of your festival passport, you’ll find a place where each booth will give you a stamp for each cookie purchased. Once you get all five, you can go and redeem your completed booklet at a certain festival booth for a well deserved prize.
For this blog post, I will be focusing on the five cookies I ate while on my cookie stroll at the festival.
The Cookies

This is the Black & White cookie (a.k.a. the half-moon cookie) from the L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen booth located in between France and Morocco. Now, I am a big fan of black & white cookies. This one was just how I like ’em. The cookie was super soft, almost cake like, and the frosting was fresh and super rich with a chocolatey flavor.
This is the Gingerbread cookie from the American Holiday Table festival booth located in The American Adventure. I overheard a lot of people saying their cookie was hard but, in my case, mine was perfectly soft. It had a nice gingerbread taste and reminded me of the ones my mom would make occasionally.

This next cookie was probably my overall favorite. It is the Spiced Chocolate Cookie from the Nochebuena Cocina booth located in World Discovery. The cookie was so soft and had incredible flavor. the icing on top was not too sweet and added a great counter flavor to the actual cookie itself. I loved it so much that I went and got it a second time the next Epcot trip I took.
The Peppermint Pinwheel cookie from the Holiday Hearth Desserts booth located within the Odyssey building was my least favorite cookie I tried. I’m not a big peppermint fan. In my opinion, it just tasted like a sugar cookie dumped with peppermint flavoring in it. It was just a decent cookie to me, however, I know someone who absolutely liked it. I would recommend it for someone who loves anything peppermint.

The last cookie I had was the Linzer Cookie from the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen located in Germany. The two shortbread cookies were so yummy and that raspberry filling in between them was delicious. Be prepared to have your fingers be covered in powdered sugar.
The Prize
After eating the cookies and getting a stamp at each festival booth, you make your way over to the Holiday Sweets & Treats booth located near the Port of Entry to claim your prize. The prize was a mini peppermint sundae, which is soft serve chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and peppermint candy sprinkled on top, and a Wish cookie. I decided to keep the Wish cookie as a souvenir but the peppermint sundae was the best!

Overall, I really enjoyed doing this “challenge” and thought everything I had was great! I hope you enjoyed reading! Go out and have an adventure like mine of your own!
